Kegong Fang, male, born in 1975, is currently a full professor at Institute of coal chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Ph.D. supervisor, team leader and project director of national key R&D program of China. He was selected as an expert in the expert database of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, reviewing expert for National Natural Science Foundation of China, Macao Science and Technology Development Foundation-National Natural Science Foundation Joint Funding Project (FDCT-NSFC), editorial board member of Asia Pacific Chemical Journal "Journal of Energy, Environmental Chemical Engineering (JECE)". He received his bachelor degree in engineering at Qilu University of Technology in 1998, master degree in engineering at Dalian University of Technology in 2001, and Ph.D at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Afterwards, he worked in State Key Laboratory of Coal Conversion.
He mainly engaged in the catalytic reaction basis and application research for synthesis of nanocatalytic materials, catalytic syngas conversion to oxygenated chemicals and fuel additives. He has completed the National Natural Science Foundation of China(Youth/general/major program), the “Strategic Priority Research Program” of Chinese Academy of Sciences, National High-tech R&D Program of China (863 Program) and the collaborative projects with the companies of Shell, Shenhua, Coal Industry Group of Henan province and Luan Mining Group of Shanxi province. He has published more than 100 research papers, 30 conference papers and 20 invention patents, reviewing 60 pieces of papers for more than twenty kinds of journals such as J. Catal., Nano. Scale, Appl. Catal., J. Phys. Chem.,IEC Res., Catal. Sci. & Tech., Chem. Res. Chinese Universities, Chinese journal of Catalysis and Chemistry. Till now, he has coached and trained 15 Master/Ph.D. Postgraduates.
