    RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
    July 1987 to July 1989: Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences; as Practicing Researcher; in the field of heterogeneous catalysis;
    July 1989 to December 1994: Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences; as Researcher Associate; in the field of coal chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, computer simulation, and so on;
    September 1992 to December 1993: Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforshcung, Mulheim an der Ruhr, Germany; as Visiting Scholar; in the field of coal chemistry (pyrolysis of coal with methane);
    September 1996 to September 1997: Hokkaido National Industry Research Institute, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan; as JICA-Researcher; in the field of coal pyrolysis;
