After attending the First International (Taiyuan) Coal & Energy New Industry Expo, State Councilor HUA Jianmin made an inspection tour on 17 September to the CAS Institute of Coal Chemistry (ICC) in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province.     In the tour, he listened to a report on research development of the institute by ICC Director SUN Yuhan, visited its pilot study platforms for coal-based liquid fuels production and pressurized ash agglomerating pulverized coal gasification technologies, and held discussions with researchers.
