On June 12, 2011, the signing ceremony of the industrialization project of graphite with high thermal conductivity was held in Shenzhen. The secretary of the Party committee and deputy director of ICC Mr. CAI Rong, and the general manager of BTR New Energy Materials Inc. Mr. YUE Min signed the agreement jointly on behalf of each side in the cooperation, which marks the start of the cooperation in the industrialization project of graphite with high thermal conductivity.

Graphite with high thermal conductivity is a new advanced material with an independent intellectual property rights in our institute. It can be widely used in a heat sink in LED lighting, solar energy absorption, and the thermal management devices in aerospace. Both sides will devote to the large-scale production of the graphite with high thermal conductivity and will promote their practical applications. The program will play a significant part in reducing carbon emissions and will provide solutions for the thermal management of the electronics device and the aerospace device.

The project signing is a start of a deeper cooperation. A research and development center will be set up in the future. The cooperation will focus on the training of technical talents and the developing of the new energy materials.
