During this year’s National Science Week, which fell on May 17 to 24, ICC held a series of activities to popularize scientific knowledge. 

68 scientific staff members and post-graduate students from ICC volunteered in the science popularization activities. Accumulatively 600 students from Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan College of Technology, Attached Middle School of Taiyuan Normal College, Taonan Primary School etc. attended seminars, lab tour, scientific tests for fun and so on. Some of the students’ parents also joined the above-mentioned programs. 

As a result, great enthusiasms and interests in science were aroused among the public.
