On November 10, 2009, Prof. Colin E. Snape from the University of Nottingham, and Prof. Guo Zhengxiao from University College London visit ICC with other four people. Prof. Wang Jianguo, director of ICC and Prof. Wei Wei, assistant director of ICC met and held a talk with them, introducing the overview of ICC and the development on clean energy technologies.

During the meeting, Professor Snape introduced the overview of the University of Nottingham and advancement on low-carbon energy technologies. Professor Guo reviewed the progress in clean energy technologies in University College London.

Professor Snape and his party visited the pilot of ICC. He also talked with the doctoral students of ICC and introduced the Sino-British exchange program for doctoral candidates and welcome the students to go to UK for further study and research.
