An energy delegation from Wyoming, the U.S., paid a visit to ICC on June 10. The delegation, headed by Mr. Thomas Edwin Lubnau II, speaker of the house of Wyoming, was composed by 15 members from the house, enterprises and higher-learning institutions.

ICC’s director Wang Jianguo welcomed the delegation and held a talk with the delegation over mutually-interested issues such as coal gasification, clean fuels and CO2 capture and utilization. Potential cooperation fields were also discussed.

Since Shanxi and Wyoming established clean energy partnership in 2004, productive cooperation has been carried out in clean energy area and in tourism as well. Further cooperation is expected after the delegation’s visit to ICC.
